The holidays are here! I hope you have a lovely break. The first week back is Book Week and Art Week. With that in mind, I'd like you to complete a book review for any book that you read over the week. It doesn't have to be your school reading book. The book review templates have been given out on paper- I look forward to seeing them when we come back. Mathletics has been set, as well as the usual spellings, times tables and reading.

What hapens?
Lucy and Megan just loved dance,
they skip and run and curtsey and prance,
And they went to thear ballet class,
pirouetting and twirling among
flowers and grass.
Oll of the squirls and rabits laugh as they say,
the tow little dancers are of on their way!
Shall we skip and hop and dance along too?"
Birds whistle music , the sky is bright blue.
Are there any plot twists?
How i red My Ballet story book there were no any plot
twists.
Did you find the plot intresting?
If i dident had a plot i don't wrily ackturly know.
Did you like the book?
I wrily liked the book, and it had lode of tricky
words in this book, even i thought if it has pictures in it
than it will be easy for me than there were tricky words,
but some of them were not wrily tricky words
and some were wrily easy.
What was your favourite part?
My favourite part was this when Lucy will soon be a flower
in the trees a BlueBell. And i have one more part that
i like it is A few famous Ballet's.
Why?
I like those parts because there are some tricky
words in there,and i like this sentence Lucy will soon be a BlueBell.
And this one Prince Siegfried falls in love
with a Swan Queen called Odette.

The main charectars are Lucy,Megan,Mrs Green,Milo and John
Who was your fauvorite charectar?
My favourite charectar was Lucy and Megan.
Why?
I like lucy because she was wrily like an
bluebell and i liked Megan because she danced well
and jumped high.
Would you recommend this book to your friend?
I will and i think she will like it
and read it and i think if she cant read well than she will not be
abell to read the tricky words.
Why or Why not?
I will give it to her because she
can learn the new words and she will read beter.

An inspector calls is a short story written by J.B. Priestly. It is an integral part of the AQA GCSE English exam. The short story is quite interesting, it is about a young woman who died in an Infirmary from swallowing a lot of strong disinfectant; this burnt her inside out. A family dinner party is held but a police inspector who states that he is investigating the suicide of a woman once employed Birling's factory. None of family is suspected as the murderer. Under the Inspector's questioning, however, it is revealed that each member of the family in some way helped to drive her to kill herself and must therefore bear some moral responsibility for her death. The short story was rather exciting and it is structured in a way that keeps the reader on their toes.
This book is about a team called mystery mob the author is Roger Hurn.The book is very funny and interesting it was funny when they threw snowballs at Adi.It was interesting when they found out the abominable snowman was a man.Then Dwayne and Gummy made snowshoes out of tennis rackets and tea trays then it worked yhey where going really quick faster then a rocket.They where surprised that they found out that it was a man the man was a actor then Gummy and Dwayne got to see his acting.This story is really nice I like it a lot.

ReplyDeletePlot: Hercules is the son of Zeus and Hera. They are gods and Zeus is the ruler of gods in Mt. Olympus . Hades is the god of the Underworld and he wants to destroy Zeus and take his place. He tries to kill Hercules and Zeus with help of Centaur,Pain and Panic, Hydra and the Titans. But Hercules defeats Hades with Meg and Phil. Hercules chooses to stay with Meg and be a mortal. Zeus created an image of Hercules in the stars that would last forever.
I did not find the plot interesting because It was about fighting and I do not like fighting.
Characters:
The main characters are Hercules, Zeus, Hades, Meg and Phil.
My favorite character was Hercules because he was very brave and strong.
Your opinion: I liked some parts of the book. My favourite part is when Hercules was chopping of the Hydra's three heads and they kept growing back . I think it was funny and silly.
Recommend: I would not recommend this book because I found it a bit violent.
Plot

The story Ginger the Stray Kitten is written by Sophy Williams which illustrates how Rosie was found of kittens, cares for them and has confident when other kitten were taken to rescue centre that ginger kitten is still there in farmyard she was deeply ,emotionally caring for him. She found him there and was very happy to take him to her house.
Are there any plot Twists?
Yes, suddenly when Rosie got the news that Mr. Bowen had sold the farm to the developer and she is going to stay with his son in the village.
Did you find the plot interesting?
I don’t think there was any plot interesting.

Who are the main characters?
Rosie, Ginger, Gran, Mum, Mrs. Bowen & Millie.
Who was your favourite character? Why?
My favourite character was Rosie because she was very caring and loving to the kittens and also shared her tiffin sandwich with them to feed them. I also loved her shiny red gingery hair.
Your Opinion
Did you like the book? Yes, I like the book.
What was the favourite part? Why?
The favourite part of book was the day when Rosie made a way under the fence and the little cute, fury ginger was able to get out from the farm yard safely and his life was saved. Rosie took him to her house happily this was touching moment in the whole story.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or Why not?
I would recommend this book to my friend because it tells us how to behave when some- one who is in trouble and try to rescue them. As well as how one can be so attached caring, loving towards an pet as a part of his family.
We should always have a caring and loving nature towards animals too.
