As a new way of getting everyone to start checking their own work. Everyone should write a star and a wish on someone else's work to show what is great about the piece of work and what can be improved.

Just hit the reply button under someone's comment to then add your feedback.

You can set it out as simply as:

Star: You have used amazing adjectives that I am going to use in my own work.
Wish: I have noticed a couple of spelling mistakes in some tricky words. Can you spot them?

Thank you.

Blogging homework due Friday, 13th January

This week we have been learning about persuasive language. We enjoyed debating some interesting topics in class! Have a look at the statements below:

WATCHING  TELEVISION  IS  GOOD  FOR  CHILDREN.

WATCHING TELEVISION IS BAD FOR CHILDREN.

Which statement do you agree with? Please can you write a persuasive paragraph that will convince the reader to agree with you.

Maybe you could include:

-Persuasive sentence starters (Surely you agree that.......Everybody knows that.....)
-Rhetorical questions (How would you feel if......? Don't you think that......?)
- Conjunctions to add points to your argument (In addition, furthermore, also, another reason is....)
- Good reasons to back up your argument
