For this week your task is to write a set of magical instructions on how to turn a person into a frog. 

First, you will need to write a list of ingredients.

Next, you need to write a list of step by step instructions on how to turn the person into a frog.

Your homework this week comes from Mr Pearce our Literacy subject lead. He would like everyone to make a bookmark design on a piece of plain paper (provided) which promotes reading and our new Bug Club initiative which the children can use at school and at home.

The winner for the school will get their design published on a set of school bookmarks which will be produced for the children.

The holidays are here! I hope you have a lovely break. The first week back is Book Week and Art Week. With that in mind, I'd like you to complete a book review for any book that you read over the week. It doesn't have to be your school reading book. The book review templates have been given out on paper- I look forward to seeing them when we come back. Mathletics has been set, as well as the usual spellings, times tables and reading.

Think back to the 'Staying Out' suspense story and remember how Kev tried to convince his mother to let him go camping with his friend. This week we have been learning the story 'Staying Out'by Pie Corbett. Your task for this week is to write out as much of the story as you can remember. Use the story map to help you and if you cannot remember the exact words then replace them with words that still make sense.

As a new way of getting everyone to start checking their own work. Everyone should write a star and a wish on someone else's work to show what is great about the piece of work and what can be improved.
